Pacific Rim Enterprises Inc. (“Pacific Rim”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• When you send an inquiry. The contact form asks for your name, company or brand, email address, what describes you (brand owner, distributor, retailer or other) and your message, and, if you choose, your phone number and country. You also confirm that we may contact you about your inquiry.
• When you email us. Your email address and whatever you include in your message.
• When you browse the site. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We also count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you personally.

We don’t ask for sensitive information, such as health or financial details. Please don’t include it in your message.

How we use it

We use the details you send only to reply to your inquiry and follow up on it — for example, to discuss bringing your brand to Canada, or a distribution or retail opportunity. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we never sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Cookies

The public pages of this website don’t set cookies, for tracking, advertising or anything else. The content editor our team uses to update the site uses cookies to keep editors signed in; visitors never see it.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run this website. They handle personal information only on our behalf and for these purposes:

• Formspree receives contact-form submissions, stores them and forwards them to our inbox.
• Vercel hosts the website and provides the page-visit analytics described above.
• Sanity stores the website’s content and serves its images.

These providers are based in the United States, so information you send through this website may be stored and processed there, and may be accessible to authorities under the laws of that country. We rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and the correspondence that follows only as long as we need them to respond, to follow up and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete them.

How we protect it

Only the people at Pacific Rim who need your inquiry to respond to it can see it, and this website and its form use encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it, subject to any legal requirements. Email us at info@pacificrimenterprises.ca and we’ll respond within 30 days.
